Temple tour

This family, who lives in Ucon, does a light show set to music, every Christmas now. You can park in an empty lot across from their house, turn on a radio station, listen and watch. They recount Christ's birth from the Bible, and then have music with the lights switching colors and going on and off in an intricate display. I couldn't snap the photo fast enough. I was trying to get all the lights... never did. On top of the roof, there is a huge Santa with sleigh that lights up as well. If you look closely, you can see the nativity in the front. They have it enclosed in Plexiglas, because it's actually a really nice set. We went for FHE Monday night.
This was tonight, after the Rexburg Temple tour. It was dark (hence the lousy photo resolution) and very cold and windy. They tented everything, but it was still pretty darn cold when we came out to dark skies. All in all, Aidan was pretty good. Considering he hates to wait, and there was a lot of stops along with way, he did a good job. Jace was perfectly quite the whole time. Not even a little squirm. The temple is gorgeous. The chandelier in the Celestial room is absolutely breathtaking. Our group had quite a few kids, who were, well, typical noisy kids... until we all walked into the Celestial room. I was surprised at how big the room itself was. Maybe I'm remembering other temples wrong... don't think so because I was just at the I.F. one... but Rexburg's seemed bigger. We really enjoyed it, and were glad we went, sick kids and all. (Don't worry, Grandma, I covered them up really snug.)
Here's all of us... a really sweet girl offered to take this.
We went to dinner after. After Jace was done with his bottle he was such a chatterbox. I guess he had lots to say about the temple. :) I wanted a video of it so bad. It just wasn't doable.
Here's Aidan... after he said, "temple was pretty neat!"... and before he threw up. I have no clue what set off his gag reflex, but he literally emptied. I was just grateful the basket his meal came in was handy! Poor waitress.
