With Jacen's acid reflux, we've had him sleeping strapped into a pillow that wrapped around him and kept him on an incline. He's too big for it now. I searched and searched for something to either have him sleep in, or at least calm him down and get him to sleep in the first place... we are so worn out from all the screaming, clawing, back arching, etc. He's 16 pounds now. It's hard to keep holding him when he's throwing a fit, several times a day and night! I looked at the "Tucker Sling," the "Amby Hammock," and many other products for this. I ended up with Graco Sweetpeace. Jace loves it, therefore we LOVE it. :) Of course he still insists on Mom about half the time, but hey, that's HALF the times I'm forced to kill my back and lose sleep. (Daddy included...)

Just taking a nap. At bedtime we move the "chair" to face into the glide. It can be faced all four directions. It also comes with a velcro swaddling blanket. Since our little magician can get out of ANY swaddling job now, this velcro one has come in real handy. Yes, (sigh) we still have to swaddle him. With the rashes he gets all over his body, he'd be totally raw if we didn't. He's on a steriod cream to control them now. And the doctor thinks it's from a milk allergy, so we are switching him over to soy formula. (Gross, poor like guy!) He totally claws himself just when he's mad, with no rash, so I'm not so convinced it's just an allergy we are dealing with. The reason for the blanket is certainly not for comfort, the cover is plenty comfy. I have to "grease" him down with Eucerin several times a day, so he leaves an oily stain if I don't use the blanket. As nice as this glider looks, it was the cheapest of the choices I had. So I am actually really happy with it.

I have had several friends that have had to deal with reflux and they have used the Amby hammock which is quite the contraption! I am glad you found a solution that is giving you some peace. Ellie was a rashy kid and still kinda is. We have to grease her up real good in the winter as well. It is just kinda gross because she is such a grease ball!
