Needles

Jacen has tried so many formulas, with no apparent result. We still have to grease him up with steroid cream twice a day to keep the rash under control. So I finally talked the doctor into ordering an allergy test. I was told it was no big deal, just a blood draw. I guess I was thinking, naively that it would be from his foot like before. You can see the bandage... it was straight from his arm, and a lot of it! It was torture. Three of us were holding him down while he screamed and hollered the entire, very prolonged procedure. I had no idea his blood would come out that slow, after all, mine fills a vile pretty fast. Not babies, apparently. So hopefully the test will give us a clue what on earth he's allergic to!
I think some extra pampering is in store for Jace today. :)

Poor Jace. Owen just had four shots today and I am feeling pretty sorry for him too. I sure hope that the test gives you some sort of idea of what is going on. Ellie gets rashes all the time, but nothing like that. Jace needs LOTS of loves, heck if I was there even I would be giving him love for that sad story!

Poor baby! We've had our share of needles and hospitals, and it is always so sad being the mom and watching your kids go through stuff. Hope you find out what is going on with Jace. I love being able to keep up with people- blogging is cool! :)
