My 12 week appt was this morning. We heard the baby's heartbeat. He/she has a great, strong heartbeat, and everything is the "right size, and in the right place" for now. :) They did the typical blood work this time, and some extra for blood sugars and protein because of my history. So far I'm thinking this was good a doctor to change to. He is much more on top of things, but doesn't freak out either... much like my OB in CO I liked so much. Because we heard the heartbeat, I have to wait until week 20 to see our wee little one. :( Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we heard it, but disappointed I can't see yet. After Jace, I'm used to having many ultrasounds. We had to "date" the pregnancy, then we couldn't hear his heartbeat, then did the regular one at 20 weeks, then had several more because of all the complications. So I guess it won't be until the first week in July.
This is why I can't get videos of Jacen doing anything on his own. He sees me, he stops, and comes right to me.
