The gestational diabetes started really early this time. We are only at 14 weeks, compared to 28. So I'm being referred to a specialist that I "must see now" and already eating a bunch of meat and pricking my fingers umteen times a day. They will be putting me on insulin right away too. This has me really freaked because with Jace I was up to 150 units per meal and another 150 units for bedtime before he was born, with only 12 weeks of it. It's really dangerous when the levels are that high. My blood pressure is on the rise again too, but it's fortunately not high enough yet to go on meds. So lets just say, when this is all over, I'm going on a chocolate binge. Florence's chocolates are already on my list of "Must have on-hand before baby is born, for after birth treat to me." If I still lived in CO, PF Chang's chocolate cake with raspberries would be on the list too. Maybe I can get Josh to overnight me some. ;) But just plain old western family mix in a box might have to do.
My sweet uncle Howard will be bringing a new (to us) Suburban to replace the Mazda MPV soon. I was hoping for an SUV... I'm frankly, terrified of driving around such a big beast. But it will have the room for 3 car seats that we need, and it's in our price range, so I'm just grateful he found it.
We still don't have another place to move into. We've found a couple houses that would be perfect, but competition for them is really high here, and they went to people who applied before we did. Meanwhile, I lost my temper over carpet verses functioning heat, and was ready to move anywhere Wednesday night.
