Every time we drove by Porter's in IF (it's on the way to the bank, so it's often) Aidan would see these on display and yell out "airppplaaaaane!" while spitting on the "P." Today, they finally went on clearance, so we stopped in and purchased one. I know it looks silly to have a planter with no plants in it, but hey... we are in the middle of nowhere, I really don't think anyone out here cares. :) If they do, they need bigger things to worry about.

Jacen, not very thrilled that Daddy left him sitting on the grass. At the park, he walked around without even a little whine. I guess our grass needs to be mowed!

The sprinkler rocket that Aidan kept begging me to get out.

Aidan is a total dare devil when it comes to slides, and climbing, but gets all freaked out about getting hit with water. So yours truly had to run him through. The first couple times he screamed like a girl, but after that he got over it and had a great time. It was evening, and windy, so we didn't bother with the swimming suits. (As if
I would get into a swimming suit right now, I just meant the boys. :)
I don't have photos of our 4th celebrations because we just went to a fireworks show late last night in IF. We were much smarter than all those other people with little kids and stayed in the car, far enough away to not get caught in the traffic, but close enough for the boys to really enjoy the explosions. We didn't even get sparklers this year. With every pregnancy, I get less and less worried about doing everything you would typically do. And take the easier, less stressful route, if I can find one.
