The doctor called to talk to me about the ultrasound results. They had informed me then that our baby was two weeks smaller than the original due date would suggest, and gave me a new due date. But when we got home, and checked the calendar, we realized this just wasn't possible. (This is what I went through with Aidan.) Fortunately, the doctor agrees that he's just a small baby (all mine have been so far.) But he also informed me that the amniotic fluid is low. I was low with Jacen too, so this didn't surprise me, and I expressed that. But he wants me in for another ultrasound Sept 1st to check both growth and fluid. That's okay with me, I'll take any chance to see him again. :) With my OBGYN during Aidan's pregnancy, the doctor ordered 3 ultrasounds, the last 2 because of my health. With Jacen, the doctor did his own ultrasounds, and "took a peek" several times. First to date the pregnancy because there wasn't anything to go on, then because he couldn't hear his heartbeat, then for the normal 20 week, then to check size and fluid again, and then again, then scheduled again because Jace had clearly stopped growing. So 5, with a 6th scheduled, but I had Jacen the day before it's appt. So going back to a doctor that doesn't do their own ultrasounds is really weird. Means less peeks at baby. Still looking at names. Some ideas have been Dayton, Daegon, & Clayton. Daemon would go well too, but the meaning freaks me out! ;)
