Pics and update

Handsome boy!
Aidan keeps unscrewing the handles on the top of the chairs and taking them off. I guess just because he can. Makes me want to use liquid nails to keep them on there. I've sure given up screwing them back on every time!
And, of course, Jacen is so proud of his latest accomplishment. He'll be walking with total confidence by his 1st birthday.
Both family and friends have been asking how the pregnancy is going and if we are settled in the new house. So I thought I'd do a quick post in response.
I haven't said much about the pregnancy, besides the baby, because it's been pretty darn miserable. :) The warnings from the Cardiologist were dead on. He diagnosed me with P.A.T... I'm not spelling it out, I'd have to look it up! Then he told me, (while I was still pregnant with Jacen) "What you are experiencing now... take that and multiply it at least 50 times. That's what you'll experience if you choose to get pregnant again. So if you two want more children, seriously think again." It's the real reason we aren't unpacked yet, because it makes it impossible to function normally. The diabetes is just mostly frustrating and annoying. I have to monitor it really closely because I not only have to control the highs, but I drop really low several hours after taking insulin too. They have no real explanation or help for me, so I'm left just eating more. I'm normally not a snacker. But with Jacen, and now this pregnancy, I've been forced to, to not go into insulin shock.
So I rarely take the boys out on my own, am wearing a medical bracelet, and have major cabin fever. I just keep reminding myself the end result is worth it. And hopefully the boredom Aidan is experiencing doesn't scar him for life. I have everything to do our own little daily preschool, but just don't have the strength to get it done.
As for the recent move, even though we aren't unpacked, we're still settled to a certain extent. Our garden is half weeded. :) In spite of the weeds, I see several corn, potato, onion, pea, and lettuce plants. So far, I only see one carrot plant! We got the refrigerator switched out because it kept freezing my insulin. Got the door window fixed, so I can see who is on the other side before I open it. Have enough working sprinklers to keep the yard from burning up. But most importantly, Aidan hasn't begged to go back "upstairs." ;) Well, that, and we are staying put for at least a year!
