This is only from 3 lettuce plants. And I smashed the lettuce down, it's pretty packed. We've got lettuce galore and I only cut the largest plants... several others are ready to cut.
So we had chicken ceasar salads for dinner tonight. I must admit, while I was slaving over the sink, cleaning all that lettuce above, I was thinking, "Good grief, I can totally see why most people aren't willing to do this!" Being pregnant, my back already hurts, but hurts even more now. But, then when I had dinner all fixed, it was a little nicer knowing the lettuce came from our garden. It was a yummy salad. We will be having salads all week! :)
