Might be helpful

Living in a house surrounded with farmed fields has certain liabilities. The biggest one is the displaced mice every time that farmer messes with the field. Of course they never just do it all in one week a couple times a year, it's here and there, several times throughout the the spring, summer, and fall. And apparently the winter too, because they plowed the field yesterday. And sure enough, I heard mice in the walls this morning. If any of you have ever tried to find where they are getting in to plug it up, you know how fruitless and endlessly exhausting it can be. So, in my attempt to help someone else not go through what we did in the search for the best mice poison out there, I'm posting our personal favorite. I no longer waste my money and time on d-con, or the other popular brands you can get at walmart or target. Nor am I willing to wait for them to come out of the walls or crawl space into our living area to be trapped.
It can be purchased at Ace Hardware, or Cal Stores... really, any farm supply store will have it. Makes sense, because most farmers live next to their fields. Just One Bite not only truly kills them in one bite, but (very important here if your nose is as sensitive as mine!) the dead mouse doesn't stink nearly as long as with the other brands that take 3 or more days to just kill the darn disgustingly pesky critters. Now if someone can come up with a repellent that truly works, and doesn't have a terrible odor itself, I'll be all for it. But until then, I'll be using this.
