He's wearing a new shirt.
It's our tradition to get him Cold Stone icecream cakes... a tradition that is getting harder and harder to keep.
Jace checking something out.
Aidan's new tunnel. He also got Edward.
With Grandma and Grandpa Lear and his new book.
With his gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Weber. New pj's and game.
I wanted to celebrate it on Saturday, but Lincoln was out of town. So we ended up doing it for FHE. We took him to see the model trains in Eckersell Funeral Home's basement. They will give you a tour if you call to arrange. I don't have a photo of it, because keeping two boys at bay in a confined space with lots of expensive items within arms reach was enough to keep our arms/hands busy. Then we took him to the restaurant he chose to eat at, which was Taco Bell. After that he got to pick out an engine and bridge or tunnel at Toys-r-us.
He is sick again, so he doesn't look very happy. But when I gave him his shirt first thing in the morning, he said, "oh, thank you mommy, thank you very much!" Very polite young man. He was pretty angry at me later though, when I had to stick my finger down his throat for a candy that he was choking on... at the funeral home, he took a whole peppermint. I had to go so far in, it hurt his throat. Anyway, glad I didn't have to do the Heimlich! He is thrilled with his presents though, and enjoyed the Breakdown train at Eckersell's.
We love our sweet Aidan forever. He is such a good helper, a great big brother, tenderhearted and compassionate, smart and handsome. I can't believe he's already 4.

Happy Birthday to your little boy Aidan, my little one turns four in March and I am already having issues with it.
Happy Birthday to Aidan! These little kids grow up so fast! I can't believe my youngest is going to be 5 this year.
