Health nut cookies. They have whole wheat flour, and bean flour in them... with the usual oats. And honey instead of sugar. They were a huge hit. And yes, I said bean flour. Grain mills are so cool. Cookies with protein, and no allergies for Jace! This recipe is in the Country Beans cookbook. I also made soup with only chicken base, pinto beans, canned pork, and some white bean flour and was so comforting and yummy.
Wheat thin crackers that actually worked. It's literally just 1 cup plain whole yogurt, 1 cup butter, 2 tsp sea salt, and 3 1/2 cups sprouted whole wheat flour. (I actually just used non sprouted flour and it turned out fine... it's just "healthier" if it's sprouted.) You make a paste with those ingredients and let it set at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Then roll it out, cut (a pizza cutter works great) and put whatever seasoning you want on top. Bake about 20 mins at 350, or until it looks done. It was more like 26 mins for these. Super easy.
