We think we know what triggered the seizures for Aidan. I may not have mentioned before that when he was diagnosed, the doctor described what Aidan experiences to me. As I listened to his description, I was blown away to realize it's exactly what I've experienced since as long as I can remember. He smiled and said he gets that often from parents. So I was thinking that maybe he'd just "inherited" it from me. But at the appt yesterday, I was informed that if a child goes until 4 without them, something had to have triggered it. After giving a history of all his sicknesses and accidents one stood out for the doctor and I like a "duh" light bulb. The fall from the shopping cart in Walmart last August. I noticed the eye blinking in October. If I'd known more about seizures, I might have picked up on it sooner. But maybe not. I'm just grateful now, that we know what's going on and can help him.
