Jacen's walking/running problems are definitely neurological. His MRI is scheduled for the 15th to determine, if possible, what is causing it. The doctor believes Cerebral Palsy is the most likely cause, based on his history and the high risk/complicated pregnancy. Specifically my low amniotic fluid and severe blood sugar lows. Though she feels the lead poisoning and contaminated water contributed, she believes this is the original cause and that the lead and bacteria only magnified his symptoms. Fortunately, Shriner's has a good relationship with EIRMC, so we don't have to travel to Primary Children's for the MRI. We'll keep you posted.

WOW, that is a lot to soak up. Shriner's is awesome, my brother went to them for some few things and they were GREAT. I pray for you guys your boys are so darling. What litte fighters they are.
