Home alone

I think I have a cold and allergies. Either way, I can't sit in church with a box of tissue and a trash can, blowing my nose every few minutes. So Jace and I stayed home from church today. Since Aidan is currently in Primary, Jace is raiding the train area. As you can see, he loves being there, especially when his older brother isn't there to control things.
He likes lining the sun catchers along the window. In defense of my housekeeping, I have tried to remove that "drip" on the window, repeatedly. I think it's some sort of superglue, and I don't feel like purchasing any cleaners I don't normally, when we don't plan on staying here. Sounds lazy, I'm sure, but I'm sick of cleaning up after previous renters. Whenever we move, we've always had to clean not only the place we move out of, but the place we move into as well. People are just gross. So I've come to the conclusion, if it's sanitized, ignore it.

This is Aidan's, obviously. He loves creating.
We started him on another anti-seizure med yesterday. Lamictal. He seemed extra hyper yesterday, but today he seemed normal. It will take at least a month to get him up to the dose the neurologist is hoping for. The more gradual the better. We also have to keep close tabs on his liver and kidneys. This drug has a high incident rate of organ damage. Unfortunately, they pretty much all do. The 1st one we tried, that made the seizures worse, was supposed to be the safest one currently available. For many reasons, I'm really hoping this one works!
