In the meantime, we are trying a new medicine with Aidan, Zonisamide. If it doesn't work, this new Neurologist wants, rather than to just keep trying more meds, to do an all night EEG on Aidan as well. So I'm really hoping for improvement and no allergic reactions.
I'm also attempting, for real, to toilet train Aidan. It's been a work in process for quite some time, and I saw readiness. So in spite of the horrible timing, I went with it. But a boy with 30+ whole brain seizures a day does not have an easy time of toilet training! The 1st day was okay, the 2nd was horrible, today being the 3rd day has been good. Hoping for the best here. I've informed him repeatedly there is no going back, and I mean it. So we'll have to get through it somehow! Tons of laundry, accidents, partial accidents, disappointments, but I still refuse to use "training" pants. I believe the messes are helping him figure it all out. So I'm majorly grateful for disinfectant wipes!!!
Speaking of, the alarm is sounding, gotta go.

I don't know mild means, but admire the way you seem to be coping with this and the many other challenges you've been working through. I think you deserve a medal of some kind. I wish the best for you and your boys. Love, Brent
