Can't believe it's September already

This was just too cute to pass up. Jace is exploring with his cousin, Michael. They are the same age, but Michael is Aidan's size. This was after throwing bird poop on Jace, and before trying to push him over... such a forgiving Jace. :) They were jabbering away in another language as if they knew exactly what the other was saying.

We'd met Heather and Jason (Lincoln's brother) at the park for lunch. They came for a baby blessing in Heather's family... probably the last trip they will make for a year while they are temporarily living in CA. Sadly, I didn't have enough sense to take a photo of them and their boys. I was too busy keeping either Jacen or Aidan from harm. And they were too busy doing the same for Jaxon and Ethan.
Jace was nervous about being up so high and near the full canal. The water moves pretty fast, and makes me dizzy to look at it.

This was a couple days later, after the boys had their immunizations. Poor Aidan had 4 shots... the last until he's 11. Jace only had 1, but he's due for another in the spring. I'm hoping we won't have to go back to get the swine flu shots.

I'm surprised this merri-go-round is still here. They even fixed it.

They loved throwing rocks in the canal. At first Jace was scared and was shaking, but as you can see, he's thrilled with it now. I think I'd preferred him to be scared of it for a another year until I can communicate danger to him a little better!
