I love this highchair and am so glad Damon is old enough to use it!
Damon had his evaluation done with the Infant & Toddler program today. They've ordered an additional evaluation to be done by their Occupational Therapist as well. They have already told me he qualifies, but knowing the state, anything can change without warning, so we'll see when it's in writing. Daddy and Damon leave tomorrow for Primary Children's again. This time for the extended EEG. Oh how I pray he does what we are reporting while there this time, so they will see with their own eyes! We need that for a diagnosis and referrals to get him the correct help. Have I said I so love those droopy cheeks lately?!
Bear has some competition. This photo is a bit deceiving... the competition is the red pig to the right. It is heavy like Bear, in the legs, just like Bear, and Jace is now asking for, "Iggy and Bea." We won't have the results for the latest testing with Jace for another couple weeks. My thought that he should be tested for auditory processing problems is being validated by his therapists, but it will have to wait until he's older.
One of his therapists has to say goodbye, and she is not happy. She clearly didn't want to leave today, and even looked like she might cry. Jace has definitely won all his therapists hearts, as has Aidan, but in a different way. Jace is the fun mischievous soul that makes them laugh. While Aidan is a total sweetheart.
I love this photo of Aidan. My Little Man is really struggling, and yet still manages to blow us away with his intelligence when he gets the words out. There is a wall that he once in a while finds a hole in, only for it to be blocked off again hours or even minutes later. He's amazing.
