Tooth infection and more

Reason for the blog drought- everyone is infected.
We've been fighting infection in this tooth of Aidan's since the dentist refused to pull it and just made the whole thing metal.  Why bother trying to save a that far gone baby tooth?!  He'd had to pull the other one he did this to, and put a ring on it, already.  But he claimed that the rings make it "so hard to keep the gums healthy."  Interesting thing, the one with the ring has given us zero problems.  We finally couldn't keep this root-canaled one under control.  It got so bad, even after starting him on an antibiotic, the infection still spread to his ear, throat, and eye.  He's on a stronger antibiotic now and says it's feeling better.  We felt it was dangerous, and  according to his new dentist, the upper molars (like this one) really are the dangerous ones with infection.  (Both of these teeth referred to were upper molars.) As soon as he's done with the antibiotics, the tooth will be pulled and the same ring he has on his left side will be put on the right.  I'll be relieved when it's done.
When he gets sick like this, or is just having a rough time with seizures period, he struggles with intense ocd-like and very literal behavior and thinking.  There have been several incidents the last few days, including tonight's- when his dad mentioned he'd used "the wrong"/aka Jace's toothbrush, he went into a complete breakdown. Once I got his name marked onto his toothbrush, he calmed down enough to spit out a shaky, "I'm so sorry for using the wrong toothbrush!"  Oh sweet little man. :(..  None of my, "it's okay, you brushed your teeth, it doesn't matter who's you used"s mattered, in his mind, that "wrong" toothbrush was crushing.  I'll just say it, it's been a long freaking week. :)

Jace had an allergic reaction to the first antibiotic they put him on for his sinus infection.  It took the full 65hrs med half life to get rid of the affects of that mess.  Hives and high fevers.  He's doing much better now.  So currently, Damon is the most miserable with an upper respiratory infection.  Poor little dude is whole body hacking/aka coughing. Hoping he's not allergic to his antibiotic. :)

This photo makes me giggle and feel so sad every time I look at it.  His face is so descriptive of how he feels.
Daddy has the cold now that started all this with Jace and Damon.

Not sure what this coming week is going to be like, but I sure do hope it doesn't involve another illness or allergic reaction.  I want my sickies better!!

I can relate with Brittany. She had surgery last week for her fillings and the ocd is out of control.

I hope you all get feeling better
