Aidan's follow-up with neurology was this morning. More blood work. Not just the routine stuff, but also in hopes to find what's causing his major muscle weakness and pain. Another increase in depakote dose for his weight. He hopes to be able to reduce the zonisamide later. The zonisamide has been helping the most with his myoclonics. But it and the cyproheptadine are what's causing the dangerous overheating. I personally think they'd have to get rid of one entirely to make a difference, which couldn't happen, he needs all of them. So not sure if we're going to actually go that route, but nevertheless, we're increasing a dose for now.
Really wishing we could get all three boys on the same page with the same neuro... this is just ridiculous. We've tried to a few times now, but the staff isn't helping, so it keeps falling through. (Herd 'em through...)
