Waiting for Aidan

I'm not a fan of taking all the boys to appts.  But I make an exception when I know it won't be crowded.  This one had been rescheduled a few times and was at a time I knew very few people would be there.  Oh this babe is just so cute!

This pic actually breaks my heart.  Jace finally wanted his pic taken so I snapped it before he changed his mind.  Just glancing at it I thought he was being silly.  As I showed him I said so.  But I picked up on his demeanor change too late.  He looked at it with what seemed like a mix of confusion and hurt.  And he didn't make a sound, just looked away.  Normally he'd laugh.  His attitude the rest of the time was quite whiny, and he fell sleep soon after being strapped in his seat.  When we got home, I looked at it again and realized, he wasn't trying to make a silly face.  His muscles on his right side are tightened while the ones on his left are relaxed.  The neuro-psychologist seeing this very thing in the office is what prompted the eeg back at the beginning of this year.  But this time there was no injury the night before or super stressful time.  The only thing that was difficult was the heat.  I have no idea if these are associated with the leg and arm pains.  And I'm frustrated.
