Focusing on our good

This is a difficult post.
One of my little men is really really struggling right now.  It's not clear as mud how much his seizures are contributing to it.  Different drs have different opinions on it and it's why we're going to yet another one in hopes to gain action instead of passing the buck.
That starts next month... and I'm totally freaked about it.  We've been to her before and she's psychotic.  But she knows seizures better than any of our other choices.  She's also specializing in metabolic disorders now, so it would seem a better fit.  We'll see if I can handle the heat, with my own health issues.
When he gets into these extreme behavior funks (yes, we've been here before, even with his brothers- AED increases have always pulled them out) it's SO hard not to go right back into my old school critical mommy mouth.  The one I've been working so hard to soften.  There is no doubt I adore all 3 of my boys.
Unconditionally.
But sometimes when I hear what's flowing out of my mouth I think, "Whoa! That's not what you want to focus on!!"  He hears me praising his brothers and probably wonders, where's my praise?  What's wrong with me?
Which is exactly NOT what I'm going for.
Remember the incentive charts I have?  They haven't ever truly worked with him.
So I'm tweaking it to what he does good during the day, and can be anything really.
Once he's earned so many stickers, regardless of each specific day and week, he will be rewarded with either a treasure box pick or time doing a special activity.
I have another idea that I really want to implement, but requires more time than I have right now.  When I do get it done, I will post it.
Hoping this shift will help both of us focus on his extreme awesomeness!

Now, some way overdue photos! :)
A lot are same as posted on fb, but not all of them are.
These were lightweight pjs I got for them at the dollar store in Snowflake.  We haven't needed them here, because of the temperature control... but so needed them there.

These sweet people let us and other family stay in their big house.
And Aidan spent most of his waking time at that house, in this truck.

It was SO windy.  And the boys were asleep.  So I didn't get a family pic, but at least we got one of us.

 The boot. lol

The recover after AZ was long and hard.

Concentrating so hard on finger painting his nails. :)

Of course Damon took it much much further.

 Flubber slime.
A side note- seeing a ton of short half face movements on Jace, and seeing them in the cycle, they totally look like partials.  Frustrated.

Caught him making faces in the mirror.
Dang cute babe!

Deliberately wrecking the plane.
Garage sale jackpot for the boys... was actually a neighbor. ;)

 Aidan zoning out.

 Jace's ranch obsession.

Jace THRILLED to have his old bear back.
And Aidan zoning out...

 Grateful for this little pooch.
He can be really infuriating sometimes, but he's been exactly what the boys need.  Especially Aidan.

Instead of saying the typical, "say cheese," Aidan yelled, "say mister gassy pants!!"
It was hilarious because both Jace and Damon immediately hung their heads looking all guilty.

 Ready to play food.

Damon wants to wear the scooby pjs every night.

Right before the mayhem that are Dr appts with 1 adult to them.

I was stunned to see these two asleep next to each other.
They don't even like sitting next to each other much.
But funnier, Jace fell asleep kissing his bear.
