Antibiotics and Surgeon

I now not only have worsening and spreading pain and swelling, but mouth ulcers as well. Gag. I'd really like to keep my gums and teeth thanks... hahahaha

I'm back on IV antibiotics. The Infectious Disease Dr was hoping to pull my picc line out today, but clearly couldn't. She also referred me to a surgeon, hoping he can figure out something, anything, that can help stop this mess. Her office has done everything that they can.

I've been told by the Dr at hyperbarics that my bone is too brittle to do surgery on, so I'm not sure what this will result in, but I'm willing to try.

As for my pain, I'll have to return to my primary physician to see if there is anything that can be done.  Oral pain relievers tear my abdomen up, so I can't take any of them... it really complicates things.

In the meantime, finances are getting really bad again, because Lincoln's hours keep getting cut into so much from all my Dr appts. 

So... I'm sitting here trying to get warm, to help the joint and bone pain, and drinking a smoothie. Sort of opposites, but hey, my mouth hurts. ;p
