Fair warning... our place is a mess. Between the boys colds, my sinus infection, my nausea, my exhaustion, and Jacen's mobility, not much is getting done. Everything is pretty much kicking my rear right now.Here's Aidan watching conference. I meant to get photos of him working on his activity sheets. The truth is, I was blowing my nose, coughing, and sneezing for much of conference.
We really enjoyed conference in spite of being so sick. We watched the internet feed on the BYU channel. They had some interesting parenting info afterward that I was grateful for too. There's always room for improvement here! I loved the advice on fostering trust by not using intimidation, but persuasion. Their link is http://education.byu.edu/youcandothis/index.html
I'm so grateful for the never ending resources we have from our church. We look forward to conference every 6 months.

Don't feel bad about a messy house... sadly that is the norm at our house! Given all the stresses that have been going on at our place, I decided to treat myself (with thanks to my husband) and hired someone to come clean my house on Saturday. Best thing I ever did. Would have paid 3 times as much. Turns out that a lady in my ward was telling me "Oh yeah, most the people at church get someone to clean their house at least every other week... they just never tell anyone". Now I don't feel so guilty about it!
