Demolition Derby

We wanted to take Aidan to the Demolition Derby in Rexburg last year, but I was pregnant with Jacen and decided not to. Then, as it turned out, I had Jacen just a few days after. So we didn't regret not going! But this year, in spite of the pregnancy, we decided to brave the huge crowd, loud guys, mud, and hot sun, so Aidan could see cars bash into each other. It turned out to be pretty fun. Until Jacen had enough. Then I took him for a stroller ride while Daddy and Aidan stayed to watch the rest. Don't worry, Grandma Weber, I had no trouble with fumes. The only thing I hated was the college boys behind us that kept yelling too loud. :)
All these photos are in the first run, so it's pretty tame. Later, when things really started to get fun, I was too busy keeping Jacen in line to take photos.

They had a huge tow truck on the other end, and the tractor, to pull the cars apart that got stuck together in every run.
Aidan had a great time. :)
They had all sorts of "runs" for the kids too. A pig run, to pull the flag off the pig. A money run, to grab money after running through a bunch of thick mud. Obviously, and thankfully, Aidan wasn't old enough to participate.
