Clean-up, climbing, and freezer meals

Jace is still climbing everything. The oven/stove, the bookshelf, shopping carts, me... it never stops.

I've been busy making a months worth of meals for the freezer. It's a lot of work all at once, and I think I like it better that way. I hate cooking dinner every night. But it got slightly enjoyable while doing several, watching them stack up, and knowing I only have to throw it in the oven later.

I've also been busy cleaning up septic tank backup. We lost about $500 worth of items we'd been storing in the basement to the flooding. The rest I disinfected and moved so we could rip out the carpet and mop the floor with bleach. I mopped it several times. Something about sewage being all over really grosses me out. Don't know why. Anyway, this little salamander came out of the drain when I poured mop water down it. I feel terrible, I didn't know he was down there.

Now Jacen is on antibiotics for the eye infection, and his parents have it too. I just pray Aidan doesn't come down with it again, or we'll be in for another round of it.
