More brother bothers

While all of the ER visits, DR visits, IV's and injections were going on, Jacen started to climb Aidan's special train creating table. As you can see, he's quite proud of himself, while Aidan is very unhappy about it.
He just keeps climbing and climbing. It's exhausting keeping up with him!
I think Aidan is past the worst of it... hope so. We took him to the DR or ER everyday last week. He had 2 injections and 3 IVs. He not only had a bacterial eye infection, ear infection, and sinus infection, but Peri orbital Cellulitis, which is a skin infection that can effect eye sight and do brain damage. So I wasn't messing around with it. The doctors treated me like I was overreacting, but I don't regret being aggressive with it. He couldn't keep the oral antibiotic down, so he ended up dehydrated and needed the IVs anyway, so I don't think they were being reasonable with their "he's not that bad" comments. :) Anyway, it's not gone, but he seems to be doing much better and doesn't have that look of death about him, so I'm much calmer.

When I was waiting to deliver Clayton, the nurse helping me gave me a sweet blanket and 2 outfits for him to wear that she'd made herself. She mentioned that it was hard to find fleece prints that were appropriate and not "too cheery" for the blankets. I found some shooting star fleece and purchased it to donate. She met me at the hospital while Aidan was getting an IV, on her day off, to accept it. I hope other moms are comforted like I was.
