We have had terrible weather the last few days. No sun, but plenty of snow, wind, ice, freezing temps, and crazy drivers that moved here from CA and refuse to just slow down... that's all it takes! Well, and 4wd. Studded tires help too. Anyway, the burb is gone because daddy had to take it to work. It's the only car with 4wd and working anti-lock brakes. Don't let this photo deceive you. The reason the driveway is clear is because Lincoln spent over a half hour plowing it, and then another half hour snowblowing it. (Someone actually gave us a snowblower... can you believe that!) The fields are clear because the wind blew the snow into the driveway. I would have taken a photo of the snow plowed pile, but as you can see below, I can't get out very easily.
I'd drop down to hip high snow, or have to swing around the screen door... which is apparently what Lincoln did this morning.
Letting the screen door get stuck in the drift, and therefore allowing the snow and ice to get all over the wreath and door. :)Anyway, as soon the sky brightened up, I had to run get the camera. The weather reports more storms later this week. So I don't forget the sunshine, I'll take photos.
You know it was bad when I admit I actually baked cookies. Yup, brownie cookies.
