Emily, or Emowee as Aidan says

Isn't this the saddest photo of Jace?! He's had a terrible fever, 104!!!, and wandered around holding his teddy bear and whining. It broke in the middle of the night, and I hope it doesn't come back that high again.
When Aidan was Jace's age, I made a fake wagon out of a box for fun one day. Since Jace was so miserable and we'd just received a Diapers.com shipment, I did it again. Not sure what Aidan's funny look is over, but he remembered I'd done it before. That kid remembers everything!

I just like this photo. His chin cracks me up.

And Jace's eyebrows crack me up.

And here's Emowee. Aidan has done really great on the incentive program. He's earned Harold, Bertie, Salty, and Emily. He also had to earn Harold and Bertie back. But as you can probably tell, once he had to earn two back, he made sure to keep the next two. :) I can't tell you how nice it is to simply say once, "do you really want to give Emily back?" He shuts right up! Now that he sees a positive and negative result from his actions, other than me and his dad being annoyed or not, he wants the positive results of course! I did have to make some adjustments though. Seven days in a row was too long for my boy at this age. So he just has to get 7 stickers, with at least 3 in a row. I am pretty strict with what is considered a sticker worthy day. He has to be tantrum free, and nice to his brother. I omitted the trading cards... only for now. Once he gets in a groove I will mix it up a little with the cards somehow, maybe giving him 2 instead of an engine. Not sure. It has to be simple for him or he just figures it's not worth it. I hope he grows out of that attitude. But I suspect he won't. :)

Poor Jace, man you can't catch a break if you wanted too. I hope he is feeling better now, it is never fun to have sick kids, Your boys sure are cute- they look like they have a great time playing with one another. I hope your doing well.
