1st attempt at lotion bars
Erin mentioned that she doesn't know how I can stand it being cooped up inside during the winter here. I have been feeling crazy. I haven't spent money on hobbies for quite some time. I broke that budget bank and ordered some lotion bar making supplies. So these are my first ones. There is a fourth, but I already started using it. Surprisingly, they are very nice. My first flaw... the air bubble in the left one. My second flaw... choice of mold. It was supposed to look like a button. It actually resembles something entirely different to me and annoys the blazes out of me every time I look at them. To MOM: remember those earrings of LaRene's, years ago, and us laughing ourselves silly in a public bathroom? So these are in the drawer, and the one I'm using got rubbed on the front side first to get rid of the image in my brain. Anyway, it was fun, relaxing, and now I have some lotion that works better than that darn expensive stuff in the store. I even managed to finish it before the boys woke up from their nap. Oh what a blessing when they nap at the same time!!!

This looks like a lot of fun and very interesting as well. I hope your doing well and all is good, let me know how you like your new kit:)
That is a great project. I have found myself really starting to get into making things homemade and actually liking it! I keep telling Daniel that I definitely need a hobby room in our new house since there really isn't much room for any of my hobbies in our house now. Thanks for sharing!
