Aidan update

I had to take photos of Aidan's rash for Dr. proof, and Aidan wanted a photo of his Cranky shirt. The photo turned out cuter than I thought it would, so I had to post his sweet face.
An explanation of the rash... We were trying the anti-seizure drug Lamictal. For two weeks, we were excited to see much improvement. His vomiting (turns out he has abdominal epilepsy as well) stopped, his appetite increased, the seizures decreased, and he was getting better rest. The dose, that was supposed to slowly increase 10 times, was two days into the 2nd dose increase. The dreaded rash showed up on his chest, neck, and knee. It's an allergic reaction that is basically a chemical burn. It's not like some allergies where you can just keep exposure at a minimum to form an immunity. Instead, it gets worse and becomes life threatening.
So back to base one. We can't give him anymore, so his symptoms will not only return, but he will go through withdrawals too. I will be missing my sweetie for a while again. The seizures take over and I don't get to see much at all of my boy, but just a lot of confusion and tantrums. I pray we will actually find a drug that will truly, fully work.

Ok, I should have read everything before asking.. I have never heard of abdominal seizures, so interesting to know all these different kinds.
