Okay, before I get the comments over the huge diaper, I will explain right up front. Damon's tummy and legs are so chubby, I had to go up to the next size to get them to actually fit around him. So he's just not long enough to match the sweet fat rolls.
His 4month appt was today, but I had to reschedule. So sorry, no stats. All I can tell you right now is he is seriously heavy.
The Infant & Toddler program (what Jace is already in) is going to evaluate Damon. I'm not sure what good it will do at such an early age, but the therapists have seen the tremors I have and since my boys have a history, they are in our home already, they want to intervene as soon as possible.
In the meantime, Aidan's latest EEG showed his seizures are predominately Myoclonic now, or maybe they always were... I tried telling them about Aidan's tremors, but got shut down immediately with the statement I hate: oh that's common. Now that they've seen with their own eyes, while the EEG showed seizures, they are taking it seriously... don't get me started.
What we are waiting for is a medication change and news as to whether or not his Myoclonic seizures are progressive or not. There are several conditions that involve this type of seizure, with only one childhood/infant onset condition being non-progressive. It's ironic it is called progressive, when that is the exact opposite effect it will have for Aidan.
So Damon's tremors naturally worry us.
I hope all that made sense. I'm having a hard time with words as time goes on. Not sure if it's the lack of sleep, too many distractions, stress, or all of the above. :)
I'm just grateful my own mess turned out to be simple, though expensive to take care of, and that I can ignore it for a little while.
