Aidan is holding his next engine to earn. Charlie. But wow holy cow, he actually asked me this morning to earn something NOT Thomas! He wants some Bob the Builder stuff to play in the beans. :) We have a big box of beans that we bury toys in... it's a sensory activity. Anyway, it's similar to playing in sand, only the feel is different obviously. And less messy, so you can have it inside. I've been trying to come up with a sandbox that will fit our needs and budget, so far it's still not figured out yet. So, in the event I get it figured out, he would have even more incentive to earn those construction vehicles.
Well, some news... The retesting that was done with regard to Aidan's Metabolic workup shows that some of it actually is not as high as originally tested. I was so excited, only to be jerked back again. Not all the results are back, so it's not definitive yet anyway... but the Geneticist insists that though he may not have as horrible of a metabolic concern, that would only mean the testing moves to genetics... he says that with our history, there has to be a genetic syndrome causing all of this, and he wants a diagnosis so he can hopefully help with treatment options. If it was metabolic, it would be a more immediate concern because that is actually treatable. Genetic syndromes are not treatable. (Just to be clear, Metabolic syndromes are Genetic, but more specific than general genetics.)
And Damon's 1st tooth broke through Sunday!!!
Since we are on antibiotics now, we are actually seeing a light at the end of the tunnel!
