Aidan said, "Damon can't eat cake, mom!" He happens to be correct. So I asked Aidan what he thought Damon would like as a replacement to celebrate his birthday. It only took Aidan seconds to think about it, and answered, "chocolate!" as if to say "duh, mom!" too. :)
Since it's his special birthday, just waxy hersheys wouldn't do.
It had to be creamy Peter's chocolate from Florence.
So thanks to Florence for letting us purchase her Peter's chocolate.
Of course we didn't leave him to the whole block like that, we chopped it.
Then present time. This was an upsetting time for his brothers. They wanted to play with his toys and we made them hold back. Aidan sulked and Jace screamed and cried.
As usual, the most simple toy is the most popular. :)

That thing in front of Jace is an elephant that shoots balls out of his trunk. It had just shot one up. Imagine why that is his favorite out of Damon's gifts. He keeps putting his face above the hole, so the ball smacks him in the forehead or nose. :)
