Sorry I had to take the cute video of Damon off. I don't know why it crashed, but it did, and I couldn't get the blog to accept it again. So I'm posting some pics instead.
What started as a speech therapy activity for Jace with whistles, quickly became something Aidan enjoyed, and now Damon loves it too. Wonder why... could be because it's LOUD?
Well, looks like they didn't get all the infection in one of Aidan's teeth... back to the dentist we go.
Yes, that is bright yellow duct tape on the top. Had to put a pad up there because Jace and Aidan kept whacking their heads on it when we first put it up. I've noticed neither boy does it anymore, but that tape isn't coming off. :)
I don't think that W-sitting is ever going away... it's one of the contributors to his messed up walk. I can't complain really. He still biffs it multiple times a day, but as a whole, his walk has improved greatly with the early intervention therapy. The other major CP thing for Jace besides the learning disabilities is his super brick like muscle tone... it feels and looks like he's always flexing his muscles. Constant stretching therapy has helped. But he is still one super STRONG little dude! It took three of us adults to wrangle him into his carseat the other day, and frankly, does quite often. Stubbornness of a 3yr old, mixed with zero reasoning ability, mixed with major strength... let's just say I have many battles everyday...
Jace's current dvd love is Dinosaur Train. His daddy is about to revolt.
Damon has a new love for bouncing on the trampoline. I wonder how long before he'll start jumping... probably be a while. :)
