Dr. Molly II

We took Aidan to Dr. Molly.  Now having two experiences with her I'm really beginning to like her a lot.  She understood.  She was compassionate.  And of course, she liked Aidan immediately.
So a bunch of lab work was done before we left.  We were given a new larger prescription for Zofran and more new prescriptions for anti vomiting and the counterpart that flushes things threw.
An Upper GI has been ordered, but is being coordinated with the Spinal Tap his Metabolic Geneticist wants, and any other tests Neurology might want.  She is coordinating everything with them to reduce putting Aidan under anesthesia.  It was cute, sounded like the ladies enjoy working with Aidan's Metabolicist.  He's Italian and frankly, handsome with brains to match, topped with an accent. :D  Too funny.
Follow-up in June, but phone calls to communicate in the meantime.
So off to the pharmacy I go... yet again.
This puts Aidan's meds up to a total of 6 meds.  All these medications at such a young age makes me nervous.  But not as nervous as letting Ketosis continue.

The pediatrician gave new referrals for the boys during our visit with him.
Hoping to get more help locally for the boys.  So many of these trips to PCMC is really taking it's toll.
I'm so grateful for finally finding the right pediatrician.  Though we still have to deal with some unsavory doctors in the constant emergencies, their main specialists are super.
Glad to be home.

I wasn't expecting you to be back so quickly. I'm relieved to hear that you were able to get more medication to help prevent vomiting. He has to be so sick of that....I continue to pray that the doctors can diagnose/treat all your boys quickly and properly.
Love you!
