Roller coaster again

Sorry for the blog shortage.  It's been such an up and down wild ride the past several days I'm having such a hard time processing it all, let alone documenting it!
After the last post, Aidan and Jace went swimming with their dda.
When they were dropped off I could see Aidan was not himself and he was showing signs of heatstroke.  I was told he had a "pretty bad meltdown."  My first thought was, he's been pushed too hard then.
Then I get a phone call a couple hours later to tell me it was colossal meltdown and that it was "totally behavioral."  Hm.  There's no such thing with Aidan.  Bad behavior of that magnitude is always preceded by seizures, and a lot of them.  As the evening wore on, Aidan continued to show major signs he'd been in heatstroke, and was sporting quite the sunburn.  Hm again.  He's not supposed to be in the full sun and heat.  That's not a behavioral meltdown, that's a breakdown and outright shock from heatstroke and seizures.
I was so stunned that all the signs he'd been pushed way past his limit had been ignored.
I need to add here, I found myself to be guilty of ignoring them as well that day.
So the last several days have been trying to communicate, yet again, (I feel like a broken record here) how serious this is with heat and working his muscles.  I've seen the cycle too many times, especially in the last two weeks as the temps have risen.  I've also checked my resources several times to make sure I'm not being an idiot.  It also became very clear, the girl in charge truly doesn't understand what she's looking at.  That puts us in the awful position of having to say, "no more, until you do get it."  I HATE this part!  I love these people, and am so grateful for what they've done to help.  In fact I think this is a first.  It's always been annoying people that never cared to begin with that I could easily say, "see ya!" to and walk away from.
But this cannot happen again.
His neurologist has bumped everything so we can get him in when we take Damon shortly.

My heart goes out to Aidan. I remember Alex being blamed for behavioral issues when he was simply shutting down due to an infection or high body temp from being in the sun too long without water. They are both sweethearts. I pray everyone gets help from the neurologist.
Love to everyone,
Elle
