Car "mat"

Aidan's seizures are really out of control again.  But the Depakote is helping enough so far, (at least while there is some Zonegran still going in too) that he's not totally gone cognitively.  To distract him from his misery, I chose one of his favorite past times... playing on the car mat.
We have two that are pretty good mats.  But lets face it they are small.
Last week his dda worker mentioned how when she was little, her and her brother had made a road with masking tape in their basement to play with.  Aidan looked at her funny and went on with his activity.
But I thought to myself, if he saw what she meant, he'd love it.  So I added masking tape to the shopping list for the weekend. :)

This is what I got done last night.
As he said his prayers he asked that I wouldn't need to vacuum, so "my new car mat" wouldn't be "messed up."  He also kept saying "I'm going to miss my car mat."

 All of us have colds and with Damon starting a new med, Aidan having horrible nights and days filled with seizures, and Jace having green goop coming out of his nose, we decided to stay home and I added to the "mat."  My knees finally gave out so daddy did the slats on the train track.

 The train tracks wrap around behind the chair next to Big Juds, then under the slide to the water tower.

Jace is standing between the depot and Big Juds.
They haven't played with anything else.
I guess I will be using the handheld vacuum until I can't stand it anymore. :)
