Enjoying focaccia bread, Damon style.
Had daddy call the pediatrician to call the neuro to get them to call us back.
Yay, for daddy and yay we can increase the Zonegran back up!
I agreed to lower the Banzel again only because the Depakote is at a higher dose than last time.
Still don't get the crazy two changes at once thing, but I'm just so grateful the Zonegran is going back up, I don't care about the other. I wanted the Zonegran to be the one to get rid of because of it's interaction with the Cyproheptadine. But it clearly was still doing some good, because reducing it was NOT helpful.
Stupid drugs.
This cool little game came in the mail today.
It's called Following Directions Taxi Driver. I ordered it for Aidan because one of things he struggles with is remembering all the steps of several part directions. He needs practice of course, that's part of his therapy. But I saw this game and though it looked like a fun way to help him.
He loves it- it has a game board that is just like a car mat. :)
He played it over and over and asked to play it again later.
I also found a book that is a multi-sensory activity approach to teaching sight words.
As I opened it and realized it was exactly what I'd hoped, I felt that giddy thrill I get from finding something I know meets their specific learning needs. I love this part of being their mom. :)

Sure hope the doses of meds go well. Prayers continue to be with your family. Love the pic of Damon, btw. (=
Love to everyone,
