Aidan's OT has him pick out and print the items (in this case the animals) to cut and paste to add to his original coloring picture. There is something about layering it that is helpful.
I love how this one turned out.
We are waiting on Aidan's wheelchair assistance application.
We should know soon... if it really was turned in when they said it would be. :) Who knows. I just know last week they only needed one more item for the app.
Well. I guess it's no more (obviously this was an isolated incedent anyway, or I'd have known this already) bakery goodies for our family.
While grocery shopping this morning, I saw a small pack of brownies and made the really dumb decision to pay way too much for something I could bake myself. I checked the ingredients and made absolute sure there was NO peanut anything listed. Nothing.
Got home. Smelled them, no peanut smell. Took a bite, no peanut taste.
Give a piece to all the boys.
A couple minutes later Jace gives his back and says his stomach hurts.
So I check his mouth and sure enough.
Hives.
One single bite had a hint of peanut taste.
Someone didn't clean their baking dishes or utensils good enough, there had to be a trace of peanut butter in the brownies.
Never again.
Speaking of... Damon is allergic to about every flavor sauce out there. On our many trips to PCMC we've discovered he's allergic to everything from ranch sauce/dressing to taco bell's quesadilla sauce.
I'll have to come up with food items we can bring that the boys will actually be willing to eat... something that I've tried in the past to save money but it didn't ever really work.
It's become more imperative I get it figured out.

As if you don't already have enough to worry about.... Sorry you're having to deal with this, too. Praying you find solutions soon to the allergy problems along with everything else. (=
Love to everyone,
Elle
