Stupid pacifier

I knew Damon wasn't ready.  Most of his therapists knew he wasn't ready.  One of the therapists that had said I should get rid of it was no longer his therapist because of re-alignment of client areas.  One lone therapist still wanted me to get rid of it.  Suddenly the pacifier was missing after a session with her.
So with my back against the wall... yes, I was down to the last pacifier on hand and couldn't get to the store, Damon was forced to give it up.
Result:
Over two weeks later he's still shrieking for it when he's in need of comfort.
He's eating way more non-food items.
(As if just simply eating non-food items wasn't bad enough.)
He's sucking on his thumb, fingers, shirt, cars, anything he can fit in that cute little mouth of his.
Not a happy Damon.
A mommy that feels like she's going to lose her mind... even more than normal.
I seriously was sooooo close to going to the store on Sunday and buying him one.
I can't go back, even though it was clearly not the right time.
Bleh to having done it too early.
He's still the cutest 1 1/2yr old on the planet.

Aidan's had several rough days.
Turns out after all that hoopla, his insurance doesn't need pre-auth for a 3 day eeg.

Jace has had several really scary bloody noses while "falling" in the middle of the night.  That was his explanation anyway.  I so wish I knew what that really means.
He's with a good dda worker right now, I'm grateful.

Appts galore this month.
Our house hunting has taken an unusual detour.
I'll do my best to keep the blog better updated. :)

Pray all goes well with the appointments. That has to be exhausting. Sorry to hear about Aidan's rough days. While growing up, your brothers had a lot of bloody noses withOUT falling. (= Hope Jace's are nothing to worry about. That's gotta be rough for Damon to go cold turkey....
Love,
Elle
