Our family is full of professional med try failures.

Seriously.

All I can say at this point is poor little men!

The behavioralist wanted me to increase Jace's Risperidone dose before moving on to Depakote.  So I did, and his behavior turned worse, no help with his sleep, blah blah... Mamma called the dr and the dr said, "try Abilify."

Well.  Several hiccup filled, stomach jerking episodes (that each ended with vomiting) later, Jace crashed.  I mean like totally out of it crashed.  Like not even really coherent, eyes glazed over, in a complete stupor crashed.  When he came out of the stupor, he kept doing things that really made think he was seizing.

This is at the very teeny tiny dose of 5mg.

Who came up with that stupid drug name, anyway?

Is he sleeping?  No.  How could you sleep with the muscle jerks?!

Okay, I'm done with my rant.

Off to the doctor for wellness checks.  Hopefully no one needs shots today!
