Touchscreen

Aidan has a new touchscreen laptop that rotates to go flat like a tablet.

He loves it, and I do too, because his fine motor disabilities are no longer stopping him from doing the basic lessons for school.  To clarify: I still require him to use his y-pencil for tasks, but I now no longer have to hover over him to do the mouse functions for him.
So grateful for the donations that made this possible.  It took some doing on our part to figure it all out... we haven't exactly been in the know about things like wireless routers and such... money, don't ask.  But after some internet research and some help at the store, we got it all set up pretty fast.  Excited for him!
If you are thinking that looks warm/hot for him, no worries.  I have one of his cooling pads back there.
When he felt it for the first time, he exclaimed, "Oh!  I like this, it feels so nice!"

His genetic test results and wheelchair are both still MIA.
He is going back for an upper GI scope, so we'll have the full results then regardless.
He continues to improve as long as we keep him cool (the rest of us are freezing) and keep him from doing normal gross motor activity.  This is more difficult than it sounds.  He's a 6yr old boy with brothers.  'Nough said.

Jace is going to the ENT.  His reaction to the allergy meds was as if it made his Depakote void.  Ya, he could breath, but the price everyone paid was so not worth it.  It was a very abrupt and stark reminder of what he was like before the Depakote.  We didn't last a week, before I took him off all the allergy stuff.
Glad to have the real Jace back.

Several months ago, I contacted someone to sew quilts for the boys for Christmas.
She finished, and here they are!
