Sorry I haven't been diligent in keeping posts up. It's been one of those times that I haven't really had much to say... not because it's been boring or uneventful, but because there's a lot of hurt that I just don't want to document.
I will however, post about all the planting going on. :)
We've planted 4 walnut trees, 1 pecan tree, 10 pine trees, and 4 purple smoke trees. The purple smoke trees will be small, and could actually be classified as bushes. ;) There are 4 more walnut trees and 1 more pecan, as well as 1 maple, 2 apple trees, and several bushes that are still due to ship. And of course, we've got grass seed... it's spring and we are busy with the yard.
Can you even find the little twig? :)
The Linden tree that Lincoln's boss gave us is budding and beautiful. All of the nut and smoke trees have budded too. So excited to see them grow. When they are tall, the Fall is going to gorgeous!!
Now we can trim off the dead branches, and hopefully it will like it's new home!
I made a whole new batch of homemade playdough and the boys have been enjoying that for fine motor play... it's also great for their sensory issues.
These pics don't do the colors justice, they are super bright and fun.
