Sandy

Puppy training has been a big learning experience for me.  Mostly learning that I'm not as patient as I thought I'd become yet. :)  I still have hangups that hinder being a good teacher.  This little puppy can be super loud, and now suddenly has an opinion... he sounds like he's being tortured when all we've done is hold him in a position he doesn't want (not a hurtful or uncomfortable one) or something equally lame to get all bent out of shape over.  I am so freaked by the sound, I don't always react the best way.  I'm doing better though, and work hard each day to keep my commitment to train him with not just firmness, but lots of love too.

This pic makes me cry.  Aidan is really struggling now.  Sandy isn't fully ready to comfort, but he fits the bill sometimes.  Which is better than nothing!

 "Sandy rub"

Aidan is having to get used to the constant licking... after his pants ended up wet, he wanted Sandy "off." :)
Getting Sandy past the puppy stage, and additional training, will help this.
I said it would be a lot of work, and it really is.
