Planting

Our new neighbor insisted on tilling our garden spot a few days ago. So while most people here were at the Jefferson Stampede or the Rexburg Airshow we were planting a garden.

We did manage to sneak up for a peek at the airshow for lunch time. Aidan loved the stunt planes, but was disappointed he didn't see a Blue Angel F-18 Hornet. We didn't go walk through all the planes on display, though. I bet there was an F-18 Hornet, Blue Angel or not. They had so many.

I'm afraid our gardening seriously leaves something to be desired. The soil is terrible, and we have no idea what we are doing. There are no photos of the finished product because we were all so exhausted and dirty, all we cared about was rest and showers. Next time, the things I would do differently are: #1 Not be pregnant #2 purchase some sort of kneeling pad or better yet, a cart with a seat, or both #3 have it planned early enough that it's not a crazy planting frenzy like today #4 get a sitter for the baby
