The preschool eval was 2 hours and it's only the 1st of 3 parts. But Aidan was so patient and well mannered. They said, "he is
very smart." Even saying a couple times, "wow, that's impressive!" As a whole, they said that he, "clearly knows the answers, but has difficulty communicating them." And, "he has a
great attention span for his age." They also picked up on his empathy/care for others. And kept saying, "he is
so polite!" He really was such a sweetheart! I couldn't have been more proud of my Aidan. He's definitely getting an extra sticker tonight.
Jace, on the other hand, was a pill. :) He was sleep deprived and very crabby for it. Oh well. It's over.
I won't know if they will accept him into the program until all 3 parts are finished. But it looks as though additional speech therapy through the school is already part of their plan. At this point, I think any part of the preschool would be helpful. I was glad to see how they chose to interact with him, and have more confidence in their program than I did at first.
