1st cloth diaper day!

"Those are the cutest diapers I've ever seen!" said Jace and Damon's OT today.  Yes, I think they are.  Damon has on the kind I originally was thinking for Jace, the Rumparooz.  Then I decided on the Flip cover and the top rated hemp inserts from Babykicks.  The liners for Jace's are my own addition.  Just cheapo Bob the Builder fleece from the store cut by yours truly.  It will wick the moisture away from his skin and be super soft, just like Damon's pocket diapers that have the liner built in.  The advantage to having them seperate is dry time and obviously, less bulk.  Damon's won't be that bulky forever, I used the microfleece insert with it which is just plain thicker.  Hemp is definitely the way to go.  I also have cheap washcloths from walmart for the messy diaper changes, I just didn't have them washed yet, so they aren't pictured.  The homemade wipe solution is just aloe vera gel, tea tree oil, and water.  So far no leaks or blowouts! (And this is sort of odd, I didn't intentionally make everything match, it was just my instinctive color choices. After putting all the photos together I realized it all color coordinated. Haha. :)
