Jace's new tude

I have expressed before that we've been experiencing major behavioral issues with Jace.  I thought I was going to lose my mind at times, seriously.  I won't put the laundry list up here of what he's been doing, that wouldn't be fair to him.  But I've always described Jace as either really really fun to be with, or really really not.
Extremes.
So far the approach has been "behavioral modification."
And it hasn't worked at all.
Jace has always been strong, but now that he's getting older his strength is increasing.  And the danger of his behavior has increased along with it.  It became clear to me that for his own and his brothers' safety I was going to have to get him into a behavioralist.  Then there was this detour and I was beginning to think the guy was a total waste of my time.  Well, I'm grateful to report, even if this is the only thing we accomplished by taking all three boys to him, it was worth it.
Jace is behaving like a typical 3yr old, or rather, a typical sweet well adjusted 3yr old.
No sedation.  No headaches or stomachaches.  Just Jace, fun Jace.
(Yes, Jace is pushing Damon around in the toy tub.)
Another unexpected result.  He's sitting still long enough to enjoy a book.
 And share it with Damon.
He is even singing to Damon.  I'm no longer having to intervene to protect.  I'm no longer getting clobbered.
What did this?
I'm completely stunned.  It's a low dose of an anti-psychotic med.  Seriously.
All I can say at this point, is I pray it continues to help him!!!

Aidan's seizures are starting to increase again... they are the smaller ones... I'm not sure if this just a need for another dose increase, or if this is an indication his LGS is progressing with force.
At least he can tell me more than he could before, for now.

That is great news for Jace! Love the pic of Aidan in this post, too. (=
Love to everyone,
