I searched for quite a while, to come up with a dessert worthy of birthday celebrating that included Jace's two favorite flavors- banana and chocolate. I found these insanely time consuming cupcakes with cream filling and ganache topping. The proportions in the recipe were way off, but in the end they turned out like I'd hoped... like hostess cupcakes should taste. :) I wasn't prepared with a 5 candle, so Jace got one lone candle. He and his brothers ate every bite and Aidan announced several times that they were great. :)
I will never make them again. lol
I couldn't bring myself to put this one first, even though it would have been in sequence and his expression is darling. It's all blurry, stupid camera. :(

Funny, this was the set he'd actually pointed out in the store, saying he wanted it. He liked it, but he liked the ones I picked out for his grandparents more. I know my bud.
